The wordings on your policy will depend on the Insurance Company your coverage is placed with. On boats valued over $100,000 the wording and coverage's are different from a Seadoo.
Most policies will not cover theft of a Personal Watercraft. We have a policy that includes theft if certain conditions are met.
Most policies will only cover fire & theft on boats but not all risk (hitting a rock or log). This coverage is available on an all risk basis but usually the cost outweighs the benefits.
Many owners self insure the hull.
We have extra discounts if you also insure your house and car.
